The Pride of Town and Regiment: Town Bands During the Civil War – lecture by Susan Kinne. This event is in partnership with Indian Hill Music. Did you know that many local town brass bands played a part in the Civil War? One example is the Manchester Cornet Band, which served as the regimental band of the Fourth NH Regiment. The evening’s presentation also includes music played on the Westford Museum’s Civil War era reed organ. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased on the Indian Hill website.
