On Saturday, June 21 from 11 am to 3 pm, the Groton Historical Society is sponsoring an Open House of its headquarters, the Boutwell House at 172 Main Street. It will be a chance to celebrate summer and see the changes made over the last three years with new exhibits, new gardens, and repair of previous damage. The new gardens were sponsored and installed by the Groton Garden Club, the Groton Womans Club and the Friends of the Trees. The new exhibits tell the stories of the Boutwell family and the house itself, which was built in 1851 and used as a museum for the Town of Groton since the 1930’s.

The Open House is free for all, and refreshments will be served.
